DAY 00Mumbai To Delhi
- We start our journey to Delhi. Traveler can board the train from their respective stations.
- Please note: Train tickets depends on the availability and the traveler would be asked to pay the difference amount if book tatkal or a ticket at higher price.
Meals: No meals are included during the train journey.
DAY 01Delhi To Shimla
- On reaching Delhi we settle in our volvo bus for an overnight journey to Shimla.
Distance: 350Km | Meals: No meals included during this journey.
DAY 02Shimla To Sangla / Rakcham
- On arriving Shimla we set ourselves for yet another road trip to Sangla.
- Check in and freshen up for a long day ahead.
- Get ready for a day out.
- Chitkul – Of particular interest at Chitkul are its houses with either slate or wooden plan roofs, a Buddhist temple & a smaller tower. Chitkul has the cleanest air in India and also know as the last village of India.
Distance: 230km | Meals: Dinner.
DAY 03Sangla / Rakcham To Tabo
- Early morning we start our journey to Tabo. On the way we find the amazing Satluj river & Spiti river at Khab.
- Nako village is the first village of Spiti valley & famous for its beautiful lake.
- Continue the journey to Tabo.
- On arrival, check in to our homestay and rest for the day.
- If time permits we can explore the market.
Distance: 190 Km. | Meals: Dinner & Breakfast.
DAY 04Tabo To Kaza Via Dhankar Monastery.
- Wake up and enjoy the fresh morning. Freshen up and fill in your tummy.
- We start our drive to Dhankar Village & visit Gompa which is situated high above the valley. Dhankar is know for a fort & residence of the king of Spiti.
- Later we drive towards pin valley.
- Kaza is the sub divisional headquarters of the remote Spiti & know as the heart of Spiti. It is close similarities to neighboring Tibet & Ladakh in terms of terrain, climate & Buddhist culture.
Meals: Dinner & Breakfast.
DAY 05Langza - Hikkim - Komic - Kaza
- Fill in your tummy for a long day out.
- Langza is known for two things – 1| the statue of mighty Buddha 2| Fossils.
- Hikkim village has a post office situated at an elevation of 4400m & is the highest post office in the world.
- Komic village is situated above 15000ft above the sea level & is the world’s highest village. Komic is literally meaning ‘eye of a snow cock’ and a Monastery Up There which belongs to Sakya Sect.

DAY 06Key Monastery - Kibber - Chicham Bridge
- Its going to be a long day out.
- Key Monastery – A Tibetan Buddhist Monastery located on the top of a hill at an altitude of 4166m.
- Kibber – A village high in the Spiti valley in the Himalayas at 4270m. The Kibber wildlife Sanctuary was established in 1992. Eight endangered medicinal plant species have been discovered from this Sanctuary.
- Chicham Bridge – Situated at 4150m, the barren beauty know as Chicham bridge. The bridge the connects the village with Kibber.
Meals: Dinner & Breakfast.
DAY 07Kaza To Kalpa Via Gue Mummy
- Enjoy the fresh air and after breakfast we depart for Kalpa.
- Visit to Gue Mummy totally depends on the road condition & time duration.
- On reaching Kalpa we explore the suicide point and the beauty of Kinner Kailash.
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner.
DAY 08Kalpa To Shimla
- After an early morning breakfast we leave for Shimla.
- On reaching Shimla we take our volvo back to Delhi. Overnight bus journey.
Distance: 220Km | Meals: Breakfast.
DAY 09Delhi To Mumbai | Gujrat | Pune
- Reach Delhi and board our trains back to the city.
- Overnight train journey.
Meals: No meals are included during the train journey.
DAY 10Mumbai | Gujrat | Pune
- It’s time to say goodbye but with a promise to meet again.

We prefer a smaller group for an exciting tour. The group size would normally be 15 – 20 travellers.

Do I Need to Buy Trekking Shoes for the Spiti Valley Tour?
Since we
do n’t have any trekking to do while on the trip , you might not need trekking shoes specifically . But still , a good brace of shoes that have proper soles and are inversely comfortable is recommended . You might
need a good brace of shoes when traveling to Dhankar Lake and Chandratal lake. A Quechua or forclaz shoes available at Decathlon will also do .
What Are the Washroom/Toilet Facilities on the Spiti Tour?
Proper washroom facilities will be provided during the stay. We will be staying in hotel, home stays and camp during the Spit valley Backpacking.
How Many Travelers Will Be Staying in One Room?
We offer Triple Sharing and Four Sharing rooms. Double sharing rooms can be provided at an additional cost of 2000/- per person for whole trip.
What Type of Food Is Served During the Trip?
We will be providing a total of 15 Meals(Breakfast & Dinner) (From Day 3 onwards) during the Spiti Valley Backpacking. Do You Prefer I Should Bring Some Medicines With Me?
Yes. its advisable to carry your regular medicines that you follow plus some first-aid medicines. We will also carry first-aid kit with us.
What Will We Do if It Rains?
If it starts raining sluggishly while touring also we will continue our journey as per the plan. Your wrap will keep you dry. In case if it’s raining heavily also we will try to find any sanctum and stay for the rain to stop or slow. However, kitchen canopies, and restroom canopies are leak proof, If it rains at the campground also there would not be any problem because all our living canopies. You’ll stay dry outside.
