Trek Overview

The Korigad Blooming Flowers Festival is a picturesque adventure located near Lonavala, Maharashtra, offering trekkers a delightful combination of natural beauty and historical intrigue. Best experienced during the monsoon and post-monsoon seasons (July to September), the trek is renowned for its wildflower blooms, including vibrant balsams, karvi flowers, and ground orchids that blanket the path and the fort surroundings. This seasonal burst of colors makes the trek particularly appealing to nature enthusiasts and photographers.

The trek leads to the Korigad Fort, an ancient hill fort dating back to the 15th century, which was later captured by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The fort, perched at an elevation of 3,050 feet, offers panoramic views of the surrounding Sahyadri ranges and the luxurious Aamby Valley below. The fort’s notable features include massive bastions, two large artificial lakes, and ancient temples dedicated to local deities.

The trek itself is rated as easy to moderate, making it ideal for beginners and families. The ascent takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, passing through lush forests and meadows, with the added allure of waterfalls and misty landscapes during the rainy season.

Detailed Itinerary

Mumbai - Base Village - Mumbai

05:00 Am – Meet team LiveB4YouDie at SGNP. Other pick up points would be – Andheri, Bandra, Sion, Chembur, Vashi & Kalamboli (the team would provide you with the map links once you register).

Pick Up Points.

Borivali – 05:00 Am.
Andheri – 05:30 Am.
Bandra – 5:45 Am.
Sion – 06:00 Am.
Chembur – 06:15 Am.
Vashi – 06:45 Am.

06:00 Am – Once we pick up all our participants from their pick up points, the team would start with the group activities and travel games. The journey is going to be filled with happiness.

09:00 Am – On reaching the base village, freshen up and settle down for the morning breakfast and a cup of tea. Participants travelling on their own directly meet us at the base village.

09:30 Am – After a short introduction we start our journey to the Korigad Fort.

11:30 Am – Helping each other we reach the top. Click a few pictures to take back home.

01:00 Pm – We start our journey back to the base village.

03:00 Pm – On reach the base village freshen up and settle down for local Maharashtrian food.

04:00 Pm – On our way we visit the blooming site near Lonavala to witness the Karvi flowers.

05:30 Pm – We leave for Mumbai.

09:30 Pm – On reaching Mumbai the trip comes to an end with happy memories.

The customer will receive an email of the payment invoice within 24 hours once they pay the registration fees.

Advance booking amount is not refundable at any cost.
Cancellation less than 20 days to the trek date — no monetary refund, get 20% of your fees in the form of Lbyd Coupon which can be utilized for the next registration.
Cancellation less than 10 days to the trek date — no monetary refund at all.
Not turning up for the trek is completely participants concern & no refund would be initiate at all.
