Trek Itinerary
DAY 1Arrival & Stay in Sankri
Upon reaching Sankri, the base village for the Kedarkantha Trek, check in to your designated homestay and settle in.
The rest of the day is at leisure. Take some time to relax, rest, and prepare yourself for the trek ahead.
In the evening, enjoy a hearty dinner at the homestay, followed by an overnight stay in Sankri Village.

DAY 2Sankri to Juda Ka Taal | Trek & Camping
Wake up early, enjoy a hearty breakfast, and attend a short briefing session with your trek leader. The briefing will cover the route, weather conditions, safety instructions, and important details for the day.
Begin your trek from Sankri and make your way through beautiful dense pine and oak forests. As you ascend, enjoy the changing mountain landscapes with the magnificent Swargarohini Massif creating a spectacular backdrop.
After approximately 4 hours of trekking, arrive at the scenic Juda Ka Taal, a beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by snow-covered forests and mountains.
Upon reaching the campsite, enjoy a warm and nourishing lunch before settling into your tents.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure—relax, explore the campsite, or simply soak in the peaceful Himalayan surroundings.
In the evening, enjoy dinner around the campsite, followed by an overnight stay at Juda Ka Taal Campsite.
DAY 3Juda Ka Taal to Kedarkantha Base Camp | Snow & Adventure
Begin the morning with a refreshing cup of tea, followed by a wholesome breakfast at the campsite.
Before setting off, the Trek Leader will conduct a briefing covering the route, weather conditions, safety instructions, and key highlights of the day.
Get ready for another beautiful day in the Himalayas as we begin our trek towards the Kedarkantha Base Camp. The trail takes approximately 3–4 hours, with spectacular mountain views and snow-covered landscapes along the way.
Upon reaching the campsite, settle into your tents and enjoy a warm and delicious lunch.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy the snowy surroundings with fun activities like snowball fights, games, and exploring the campsite, or simply relax and take in the majestic Himalayan views.
In the evening, enjoy a warm dinner at the campsite, followed by an overnight stay at Kedarkantha Base Camp.
DAY 4Kedarkantha Summit | Sunrise & Summit Day
The most awaited day of the trek is here! We’ll wake up at around 2:00 AM, have some light refreshments, and get ready for the summit climb.
Begin the challenging yet rewarding ascent towards the Kedarkantha Summit under the star-filled Himalayan sky. As dawn approaches, the first rays of sunlight will slowly illuminate the surrounding snow-covered peaks.
Reach the Kedarkantha Summit at approximately 12,500 ft and celebrate this incredible achievement. Take some time to soak in the breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the Himalayas and capture those unforgettable summit moments.
On a clear day, you can spot magnificent peaks and ranges including Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Gangotri and Kinner Kailash from the summit.
After spending some memorable moments at the top, begin the descent back towards the Kedarkantha Base Camp.
Upon reaching the campsite, enjoy a well-deserved hot lunch and take some time to rest and recover.
As we reach the final night of our camping experience, get together with the group for a fun farewell celebration, sharing stories and memories from the trek.

DAY 5Juda Ka Taal to Sankri | Trek Ends
Wake up to the peaceful Himalayan morning, enjoy an early breakfast, and get ready for the final descent of the trek.
Begin your trek from Juda Ka Taal towards Sankri Village, retracing the beautiful forest trail through the mountains.
Upon reaching Sankri, freshen up at your designated hotel and enjoy a well-deserved lunch.
With the trek officially coming to an end, it’s time to bid farewell to the mountains and your fellow trekkers. The group will disperse from Sankri, carrying back a heart full of contentment and a mind full of unforgettable memories.
Inclusions & Exclusions
- 1 night accommodation in a hotel/homestay on a triple/quad-sharing basis, with an attached washroom and geyser facility. 3 nights of tent accommodation on a triple-sharing basis.
- Surface transportation from Sankri to Sankri by Sumo, Bolero, or Tempo Traveller (Non-AC), depending on the group size.
- All vegetarian meals from Dinner on Day 1 to Lunch on Day 5. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner from Day 2 to Day 4.
- Trekking tents, Sleeping bags, Mattresses, Dining tent, Kitchen tent & Toilet tent.
- Qualified and experienced Trek Leader along with necessary support staff.

The booking will be confirmed upon receipt of 50% advance payment of the total tour cost.
The remaining 50% balance must be paid 10 days before the date of departure.
Bookings made within 15 days of departure must be paid 100% at the time of confirmation.
Confirmation is subject to availability of hotels, transportation and activities at the time of booking.
A booking confirmation/voucher will be shared once the required advance payment is received.
Any additional expenses arising due to changes requested by the guest after confirmation will be charged separately.
